A tower gives more stability than a pylon when a rider cuts out. It won't really sway the boat or anything.

scooter, it works like that because of where the tower is attached to the boat compared to where the pylon is attached. the tower is attached to both sides of the boat and the pylon is just attached in the middle and to the front so there is a whole lot more stability. when ur riding u can definately tell the difference.

think about it the tower is a huge structure and the high pole is just a thin pylon

cwbwakeboarder, if you notice if u ride behind a pylon, it will flex when you cut out hard, this wont happen with a tower because its more stable. it wont make you jump higher, but it will keep the line steady. and it looks cool when u put like a couple wakeboards on each side with like speakers and lights, and girls are like "0o0o0o0oooooooooo". so towers are way cooler. Use a good progressive edge. That is the most important. You can add weight and make a bigger wake. That helps too.

A tower simply allows you to jump higher, eventually a pylon will somewhat pull down on you when you jump high enough, but a tower allows you to reach up higher in the air

a tower does not make the boat rock as much because the effective arm is not a big as on a pylon

Can you explain this MWSRiders??? Surely the point of pull is at exactly the same position therefore the "Moment"or torque is the same.

A tower makes you jump higher and keeps the line tension high
