| The nose hit the wake when you are coming on to it or it dives into the second wake while landing? |

I think he meant that he would nose dive when landing.
My friend does this a lot so this is how i learned it. Start off with your ts jumps really small then work your way up, this way you get use to the balance and feel of it. Keep the handle tight and take small jumps , gradually going bigger each time. This will work if you take the time to do it. Hope it helps |

I have the tendency to pull harder with my back (dominant) hand thatn my frton when going into the toeside jump. I'm working on it but right now when I land I let go of my back hand and keep my eyes on the horizon and focuse on landing on an edge while edging away from the boat. That's to land it. As for taking off it sounds like you are trying to ollie or something and this causes you to get off balance in the air. When it comes time to land you are of axis and just dig in. Like colefooter said, start small and build up so that you can get used to using the progressive edge on your toeside too. _________________ Wakeboard/Waterski/Kneeboard/Ride Random Objects

You're coming off edge before you hit the wake. Stay in your cut on edge, don't bend at the waist when you come into the wake and stand tall when you hit the wake. Keep the rope at your lead butt cheek all the way through. When you leave the wake, pull yourself across the wake by pulling on the handle consistently (don't jerk). When you land, you can let go with your back hand but not until you touch the water.
good luck. |
