I have a 2000 Super Sport Natique. We added a tower to it, does doing that basically make it a Super Air Natique? I thought the hull was the same and therefor when we added the tower it could be considered a super air natique. Did I get that right or not. I am thinking about adding the AIR graphic to the side, but want to be sure its a super Smile

Anyone know?

Thanks,
Ben

P.S. I'm attempting to add a picture of it to help. I hope the size isn't to big.

Nice looking boat.

I would say yes, got yourself a super air....

The super sport and super air hulls are identical and have not changed, as far as I know, for several years. The only differance in most years is stickers, tower and ballast tanks, most everything else is optional on either. Aside from that, the only way to tell the diff. is on the paperwork and the coast guard plate.

Super Sport = Super Air
Air = Sport
Pro Air = No sibling

Have fun with your "new" super air nautique.

In general, yes, you have a Super Sport configured pretty much like a non-team, pretty baseline Super Air Nautique. Which means you have an awesome boat! To be honest I like the super sport graphic better than the Super Air batman logo. Seems like you've got the best of both worlds there yute. I would keep the current configuration.

Nice!

Thanks for the comments guys.

I wasn't going to change the Super Sport in the back, was thinking about adding the mirror AIR on the side. There are so many dumba$$ people on my lake that buy an Air natique and have the marina remove the balast and the tower. It pisses me off everytime I see an "Air Natique" go by and there is no tower on it, and they don't even wakeboard!!! I just don't get some people.

Anyway, thanks again for the comments.

Why in the world would anyone do that? If they didn't want a wakeboard boat, they could have gotten a 196, 206, or 216 in non-Air configuration. Who would pay for the wakeboarding equipment and then have it removed? Correct Craft produced a few boats during the beginning of the wakeboarding craze that were Air Nautiques, but did not have a tower. They did have extended pylons though.

Most of what people above have said is correct. The Super Sport and Super Air hulls are exactly the same, and have been for a long time. The main differences are the ballast tanks, tower, and graphics.

You can find out more information over at PlanetNautique.
