I've been longboarding for about 7 or 8 years now. I'm more focused on the short deck but every now & then I pull out the longboard for cruisin'.
I used to downhill when I was in college with a buncha my buddies, we loved it but we're lucky none of us got killed. A couple guys got banged up real good but they survived. I used to have a Sector 9 (the Phoenix) but now I ride a Quiksilver. |

longboards look really cool. ive always wanted to get into it but never really have. haha though i did take a piece of plywood and try to use a jigsaw and make my own longboard. it turned out horrible and doesnt even have the same effects as a real longboard. its a POS but i will see if i can get a pic of it on here sometime lol. _________________

Hey dudes i've been longboarding for well forever it's the funnest thing to do u just skate around with sum friends lookin for huge hills and then just bomb them or carve the sh*t out of them. I have a sector9 carving series and a landyahtz for bombing hills i've gotten up to 40-45mph on that thing its crazy but fun as hell. me and some friends who have longboards have races every once in a while, and my friend got speed wobble in a race and he tried to bail but he was goin to fast and broke his wrist. I still havn't done that hill since its so smooth and fun but it is steep as hell. _________________ I do my own stunts cuz i like to take the risk yo! |
