I have a Cobalt boat, and I have been trying a backroll for a couple of weeks. I can get to the point where i spot my landing but I always catch my front edge as I land (under-rotate). Is there anyway I can pull this trick off of a runabout like I am trying? Any tips on how to pull it out would be appreciated. Thanks

The best advice I can give is that is an edge trick.
If you are underotating try to edge away from them boat when you hit the wake kinda like you call a C cut.
Don't throw it to soon.
Keep the handle close to your hips.

pull the rope closer into your hips, and this will make your rotation faster, causing you to either get the right amount of rotation, or overrotation.
