Ask the rider what they prefer, speed wise when riding and getting up. Though try to keep in a straight path at the same speed. If a rider fall come to a complete stop and go over to the rider on the drivers side so you dont hit them.

DON'T CUT PEOPLE OFF! Apparently it is hard to figure that out for many people out at Possum Kingdom in TX. Everytime I would have clear water, either a jetski or a boat would absolutely have to cut in front of you so they can stop and make you go around them and over their wake. Stupidity at its finest.

I made a pylon for my boat, and when we use it the boarder pulls the boat really hard to the point where it is kind of difficult to keep going straight. Is this normal? Is there any thing I can do to make it better?

Just keep going straight. Dont mess with the wheel and dont try to increase speed and decrease speed while your rider is giving it his all out there.

My driver in the beginning woudl try some stuff like this to see if it woudl help me, but usually the boat moving around would throw me off balance.

Do the same pass over and over. Dont do circles or run outside of your previous path or you will just keep sending rollers in different directions. Pick a long and straight path, run it, turn around wide enough to be aimed at the SAME path, and run it agai, there will be no rollers. They will always be parting away from you and the rider will have calm water. The shorter turns at the end, the quicker the boat will get to speed and the rider can start his pass. Nothing worse than riding over your own rollers and running out of energy because your driver cant drive a straight path.

Definatley driving you same path is the only way to go. It's amazing how many wakeboard boats and ski boats I see that do a circle around the lakes shore thinking that's the best way to do things. Never realizing that it screws up the water so much.

If you have to turn the boat in the middle of a run (not to turn around), do quick sharp turns. Don't do loopy turns.

Pay attention while driving TO driving. Not the radio or the girl next to you.

Watch for floating debris or logs and if you see any floating garbage, pick it up. Be kind to the environment Smile

power turns are my biggest pet peeve in the world. It sends rollers down the entire river. pisses me off Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

I also hate jets skis that chop up the glass

oh and wally's too! ...stupid rednecks...
