Wakeskate shoes

Do the shoes u wear wakeskating matter, I have a crappy pair of Any Macs that I got at payless for like 7 bucks, does it really matter what kind u have?

basically wakeskating shoes just drain better. thats the only difference really. skate shoes are good

Yeah at least wear shoes to protect your feet. My friend was riding my casette(grip tape) and the inside of his right foot slid on the board when he busted ass. He lost several layers of skin on that part of his foot and it bled like hell on his boat so shoes are def a good idea.

wakeskate shoes help. since they drain they are lighter. Even drilling holes in the soles of your shoes helps alot
