| Search this forum there's tons of info posted. The video Detention 1 explains it nicely. Just lay on your back, arms out straight between your knees, your knees bent. Don't fight the boat, let it pull you up. Let your knees compress towards your chest and the boat will pull you up on top of the board. Stand up and turn. Once you get up a couple times it'll be easy from then on. It took me a couple times of going out before I could get up. |

| Yeah man when you get up just pay attention closely to where your going and BALANCE. Its hard try goin a bit faster gives ya more balance. But don't go outside the wake till your ready. Its gotten normal for me to get up and get outside but don't try it till ur ready its kinda wobbly |

Board should be horizontal. Tell the driver to do it slowly. Let the board compress into you. Start to turn it so the nose points straight but keep it out of the water. Then just let the boat pull you up. The driver should not go faster than 22 since you are just learning. _________________ Wakeboard/Waterski/Kneeboard/Ride Random Objects

| The boat should do most of the work for you. Dont try to straighten your board to quickly and keep your knees to your chest. |

The whole key is to not stand up untill you "know" that its ok to stand up. By that I mean that you should be squatted down untill the board is pretty much leveled off and is floating across the water. When it gets to this point you will know that you are rock solid to stand up.
Sometimes I try to stand up too fast and I go right on down onto my face. _________________ Visit www.nashvillewakeboarder.com for riders in the Nashville, Tn area! |

I heard Viagra helps get people "up"...
But it sounds like you're trying to straighten out you're board before you're fully out of the water; making you eat it. Make sure you're knees are pretty close to your stomach, let the boat pull you up and then straighten yourself out. |
