I used Home Depot carpeting and it worked just fine. Pretty affordable too.

Don't do it buck! Having no carpet was a pleasure for me
with that boat. A mop and bucket seemed like much easier
work. Hell, half the time I'd just hose it out.
The boat I have now has carpet. Its a pain
It stains from leaves and stuff and I have to vacuum
it after every use to keep it clean

Let me start by saying I work at a marine upholstery shop, and restore/repair boat interiors every day. Please, don't rhino line your boat. Unless it is a newer boat without a wood floor, it will no be good for the boat. When the floor gets wet from the bilige area under the floor, the water will never dry and cause rot quicker. With the rhino lined floor, it is impossible to fix. Also, every color except white will get exceptionally hot. Try to find a good deal on carpet. If you want very good quality carpet that will last a long time, Marine Aquaturf or Syntex will be the best two to buy. Putting it in is tough, but if you are a do-it-yourselfer, you can handle it. Make sure you do it on a warm day and use some very good glue. If it is cold when you do it, the carpet will be stiff and very hard to work with. Whichever you choose, good luck.

This is good to know. I also would like to re-carpet my boat and don't want to spend $1000 to have somebody do it.

Buck,
That boat had a snap in carpet at one time.
I never saw it but the snaps are still on the floor.

That seems like a pretty handy thing. Kind of
the best of both worlds!

glsurf, were you quoted from someone 1000 bucks? What kind of boat do you have? That is pretty high for just a carpet job, especailly if it is an inboard!

Nautique dealership in Atlanta quoted me the price. I could look elsewhere, but I've had a bad experience doing that. Basically, I paid a guy about $2,200 to get my boat to run better and it actually runs worse. He told me he knew Correct Crafts like nobody else. Sucks to be trusting sometimes.

Great, we are open from 9am-6pm. Ask for Jerry, he is my dad and the owner of the business.
Thanks,
