|
Im looking to spend around $300 total for board + bindings. Im 6' 175 and was looking at the EVO 138. I've been wakeboarding several times using friends boards, for about a summer. I can jump w2w and do grabs and other stuff, and i am a quick learner too. Will i grow out of this set up too fast? how are those bindings? thanks a lot |

The evo is a great board but the 138 is probably too small for you, I think the have a 143. What kind of bindings? |

You won't get too advanced for this board, cause a few pros ride it. It is still really good for learning on though. |

Yeah, the board will work out great. Like wakeboarder_dude22 said, you wont get too advanced for this board. Also it can be used for all levels of experience. |

I am 6'1 180 and have been riding my evo 142 with evo bindings for about a month and a half now. I love it. I do not have experience with other boards though, but this one seems to perform great. I just learned less than 2 months ago and I am doing w-w, 180's, switch 180's, and some basic grabs. My boat does not have a big wake, so it has been a challenge to learn w-w, but it gets enough pop it seems. The only complaint I have is I can slip out of the bindings if I catch my toe edge hard, no matter how hard I lace them up. _________________ Jet Noise, the Sound of Freedom! |

yeh i find that if you get a average-higher end board then splurge on the bindings i have the cwb vibes bindings (replaced by the zeus this year) and i have the hyperlite motive, the bindings help me with those hard landings in the flats but yeh if ur 6' 175 go with the longer rather than the shorter |
