I think it would be cool as long as they will be willing to stick it out, and not just bail right away if they don't turn an immediate profit. I think wakeskating's gonna get pretty big, and the more companies that are trying to push the sport(in the right direction)is a good thing, we need more componies that are willing to take a chance and innovate as opposed to just stealing from Thomas. Kampus wakeskates seem to be heading in the right direction with new fins they just designed, that fin may not be for everyone right now but it will help the sport progress. I would consider buying a santa cruz if they commit to the sport. |

If they're going to start as a new company in the wakeskating industry, I think they should come out with something innovative and new. If they start out behind the more experienced companies, they won't gain much ground. |

i'd buy one if they guarantee their skate will make me better, or if their skates are better quality and design than any other, similarly priced skate. |

I'd buy one. After you mentioned that, I envisioned alot of the skate companies going after the wakeskate market, especially if it keeps growing like it is. But if Powell, Wolrd, etc. all started selling, I'd definitely stay true to Cassette and Kampus and stuff. |

if they came out at the right price, looked good, and took design forward, then why not, i'm lookin for a skate right now so if they are good i could buy one.
As long as they don't do a crap job like the CWB lucky, i saw one of those in a showroom that was all split a warpped, was gonna buy one till i saw that _________________ A bad day at the lake is better than a good day at work. |

All the company's are starting to make shoes that drain, I can't undestand why S/C hasn't made a skate already. |

C'mon people, don't be scared. Help this guy out with his cause.
I would buy one because Santa Cruz has always made a quality product, no matter what sport they are catering to. Thier skateboards have always been tough as nails. Indy trucks....there's none better. Speed Wheels have been tried and true for years now. Thier snowboards are killer, so why not make a wakeskate? With all of the awesome wakeskaters here in the Nor-Cal area, I'm sure they have the right input to make an awesome skate design that will work with everyone!
I personally give Santa Cruz props for wanting to get into this sport. I know those guys will do well. Just my buck-fifty!

My first "real" skate was a santa cruz Eric Dresson everslick(well I had an H-street that was beat to hell and didn't last long, so I'm not counting that)and my first snowboard was a santa cruz(never realized that before, weird). as long as they were to make a strong commitment then I would def. ride one of there boards, I like to support local companies. Sounds like this is closer to happening than I first thought, keep me posted bro. _________________ http://www.integrity-wake.com
