Did my first ollies today.

Crashed every once in a while. The last crash made we stop. I ollied, front of board went under, and my front foot came off. Soon after my board came up and nailed me in the head, thank god I was wearing a helmet. Otherwise that could have been harmful.

Anybody got any tips on getting higher ollies, mine was about half a foot.

I'm with ya on that. Yesterday I tried to do an ollie 180. Only I tried to 180 too soon I think. I nosed it in and came up with memories of my concusion. I guess the only way to get better is to keep practicing. I know that if you are just going to ollie that you need to keep your weight balanced, lean back a little at first so you don't get scorpioned.
