im buliding a wake skate and im wondering if i shoould put fins on it.

its personal preference. it depends on whether you like a more solid and grippy feel or if you like a loose feel. also if you wanna do like lip tricks and shove its no fins would probably be better.

lip tricks and shove its can both be done with fins.

I would atleast build it with the option for fins, every board is different. I rode my flat deck for 3 years without the fins, But I don't like the ride of my 4-track without them. Most of the boards I have been riding lately have had fins and feel better that way.

I have a 03 Concave Cassette with fins in and It tracks horribly. I try and cut and the fins slip out and I go into a powerslide. Whats the problem?

maybe your not edging right.

yes i know shove its and lip tricks can be doine with fins but its easier without and most people dont have them for that kinda stuff.

id say drill holes and decide when u ride it
