DEMO... Just becuase it's a girls board doesn't mean that it's a good board for you. I bought the diva last year on graphics alone and i wish i hadn't. Check your local shop and see if you are able to demo the divine along with some other boards. Check out Wakeworld.com becuase they have pretty good board reviews.

definately demo. I haven't tried the divine, but wakediva is right, don't go completely on the graphics. I bought the Diva too because (1)I thought it looked good, and it IS a girl's board afterall. (2) because it was only about $70. I got lucky, and I like the board, but there's definately a better board out there for me. If anything though, a good pair of bindings and a cheap board will do you better than a cheap pair of bindings and an expensive board. Not saying to buy the cheapest board you can find, but you don't necessarily need the most expensive either.

Not to hijack this thread but are any of your board shops getting away from demo programs? The only one even close to hear doesn't even offer demoing anymore. I don't know the whole deal but I think they were loosing money on the boards they lent out. Just wondering if that's going on anywhere else since you always hear demo demo demo.

indywakechica, They charge money at the shop around here to demo, but you get like 25% of the demo money back if you buy it. I think it's $15 for bindings and $25 for boards. Not the best way to spend money, but definately helpful in the long run because demoing is the way to go.
