They didn't fit me right . I did pick up a pair of men's cargo shorts though, and some pretty nasty looks in the dressing room. People make me laugh. |

sh0rtyme, it blows me away that people would treat you that way just for buying mens shorts...what has this world come to? When I encounter mean people I just tell myself that they are living a miserable life, and I hope that something good happens to them, so that they might change their attitude's/perspectives...it may sound cheesy, but it helps me stay the cheerful person that I am, instead of letting others bring me down
And, on the subject of shorts (wasn't trying to hiijack the thread... ), I'll have to check Old Navy out, I currently have a pair of the fox racing long board shorts and absolutely love them...also, yesterday went to Dillards and they had all their Roxy stuff at almost 1/2 off , I bought a pair of Roxy long board shorts for only $26 (originally priced at $58 )!!!!!! _________________ ***Rockstar Without A Guitar*** |

sh0rtyme, Forget those people giving you wierd looks - they suck... Maybe they don't have anything better to do with their time than judge others. Hey if you're comfortable, it's all good!
BTW: Thanks for the heads up WakeDiva, I love Old Navy - I'll have to go check it out! _________________ You say psycho like it's a bad thing... |

| Don't you all have problems with the velcro from the board shorts snagging your bikini bottoms?? I've switched to all velvro-free boardshorts.. I'm a big fan of Men's Hurley shorts and this year Billabong has women's shorts with no velcro too. Do you know of other brands without velcro?? |

jengifur, I've had this problem too, but have yet to find a pair with no velcro. I just try and be as careful as possible when I'm putting my shorts on.
About the men's shorts, it doesn't bother me so much that they weren't kind about it. It just makes me laugh that they would care enough to even bother showing me that they care. |

Yeah I have that snagging problem too. I think I've even posted about it before. I did find a pair last year with no velcro at Express of all places. They're my new favs. To top it off got them for $6 in the clearance bin (end of summer last year). _________________ Cause we are strictly business and we also got our pride

Just wanted to add that Aaron Chang has a super sweet line this season. For starters, the bathing suit tops are super nice because they made it so that you had basically two straps going around your neck, rather than one so it DECREASES the headache from all the tension (at least I get those).... but also, their boardshorts are great lengths and come in pretty cool patterns. _________________ SlidingGlass.com

I don't know where you could find them.... maybe your local board shop. I get mine from Tommy's down here in south florida. But yeah, those tension headaches SUCKED, and thanks to these suits, I don't get them anymore. Plus, for anyone else who's tried wearing aaron chang before, is it just me, or are they finally starting to get away from that whole thong thing? Yeah, the majority of girls don't care to show their rear ends to the whole world. _________________ SlidingGlass.com

You ladies may want to check out Crue Wakeboarding shorts. They just came out and they are sweet. These shorts are made by wakeboarders for wakeboarders. Long enough to go below the knee and stay there. No stupid surf combs. They have a flex fly. Magnetic pockets, no annoying velcro.
If you would like to check a pair out, send me a PM and i will see about sending you a pair.
They don't have shorts made just for ladies yet, but soon. |

| I only have one pair of long board shorts ~ Roxy. My favs are my O'Neill board shorts. They fit really well and have a nice variety of prints & colors. I also like the material.... thick, like guys board shorts. I don't have the velcro snag problem with my O'Neills b/c the prickly part is on the bottom, not on the overlay part. |

They are ALL long on me... my legs are like tree stumps..
I just got some new O'neills though..and my others I got from pac sun...I only have like 4 pairs. for a while I cut off a pair of my Juicy Couture fleece pants and rode in those..super low rise and more 'fitting' but they took TOO long to dry out.
I do love the Aaron Chang line..My hubby bought me a bunch of his stuff from Bliss...lotsa kool stuff! _________________ www.420EMPIRE.com 'Whatever you want it to be'

wakejunkeygirl, the longer the better! lol
I wear bigger shorts than most of the guys I ride with...I take that back, than ALL of the guys I ride with. Hah. My personal favorites are the Fox Kahuku Racer 2 shorts, the MX3's are pretty sweet as well. Fox makes some sweet shorts, they also kinda of sew a butt in if you know what I mean haha. The crue shorts looks pretty sweet as well. I don't own a pair yet but the material is super comfy and they have everything you could possible need for wakeboarding. I also just got my hands on some Aarn Chang...good stuff. _________________ Sliding Glass...It's what we do.
