a buddy of mine had his numbers done like this..... i know this is the word mastercraft, but he had a silhouette put on each number and letter just like this. i am trying to think of something creative to do for my numbers. any ideas? i know, you have to be careful accoridng to the laws, but technically, they are the block style letters that are required. also, he has been stopped in all three states that i ride in and hasnt had any problems yet. any more ideas?

Kinda childish I think. I do know a place that can make you custom numbers to match the color of your boat perfectly. And you won't have to put them on one at a time either. It's just a peel-n-stick decal. Very classy.

| just for the record, i am not necessarily asking for ideas about girls on my letters. flames coming off of them, or a wakeboarder doing a trick around them or just anything creative is what i was what i was getting at.

8 so you owe me 3 more ! haha
I will say that when I got my boat the dealer used a different font than I normally see, kind of a cursive, so it makes the numbers look a little different but its pretty subtle. I have also seen the block goth style w/ the shadow outline that looked OK. Anyway post what you end up doing I promise if I cant say anything nice I wont say anything at all.

im sure there r a few places in ur area that do custom decals that would have a coo look or design to em...thats how we got ours done..we just got blue balloon letters with a black shadow on each of em to match the boat. not too simple but not outrageous

There are a lot of sticker places online that do them. Just search using yahoo. A lot of the companies have some cool fonts and stuff.

mossy44, It all depends on what you want to spend. You can get drop shadows, embossing, raised lettering, holographic, metallic, beveled, etc. as a style. I went with dual embossing and it looks really sharp.
If its fonts you want, just search fonts (band, sports, etc.) for type and try and get a really extensive true type font that is atleast 48 or above. Load the font file on disk and take it with you to your vinyl cutter, they should be able to do the rest.
Or, you can look up information on making your own fonts on the net. I assume that is what the one you posted is. Follow the instructions and you will only have to make the fonts for your numbers.
Hope this helps!
