Tower Speakers???

I am going to build a pair of tower speakers (I saw a post on the old site on how to make tubes out of 6" pipe).

My question is weather to get marine speakers or not. The speakers them selfs will be o my tower all summer, so should I use marine or not. I know some guys out here have regular speaker on their tower, and some have marine.

I know the benefits to marine, I just convincing either way

if you can take them down everytime you ride i wouldnt pay the exra for marine.

sound quality is not that great with marine either. not very likely they'll get wet up their anyway. check out rockfords or bostons or something like that.

thanks guys but i bought some marine yesterday. I will leave them up there all summer
