What would i need to do if i added two tower speakers and a sub to my boat????? I already have four speakers in the boat. would i need an amp????? extra batttery?????? And how would i install the sub and speakers and where would i run the wires???????

sorry i just don't know too much about sound systems!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

You would need an amp a 4 ch. would be best. Run the two tower speakers of channels 1 and 2 then bridge 3 and 4 to power the sub. You won't need a second battery. Run the speaker wire through the tower.

how exactly does an amp work and why do u need it????????

hopeing your deck has RCA outputs you'll run an rca cable from the deck to the amp. An amp powers the speakers so they can get LOUD. Your deck doesn't have enough power to power tower speakers and subs. Amps also give a much better sound quality.

You'll have to take the deck out. If it is a Clariion Marine it should have them. Unless it's an ancient radio it will have atleast one pair of RCA's.
