you can do it anyway you like! those three ways would work or you can do it off 1 wake and land back on the same wake, this way seems to becoming the most popular way to do it.

Wakegurl, you skate, right? Same principle as the skateboard, but you gotta kick a LOT harder. One way you might try to practice is if you have access to one of those huge trampolines, try bouncing with your skate under you & try to flip it. That oughta give you a feel of the mechanics. Then take it out into the water.

If you don't know how to kickflip a skateboard then I'd suggest trying to learn that in order to get a feel for the trick.

ya i skate, not very good but i try. i dont have a tramp though so that wouldnt work, i can only get the rotation on a skateboard, cant land it, i would never be able to on a wakeskate

yeah nice picture, seems like it would be harder to do it heelside rather than toeside.

but the way to how you would say initiate the kickflip i guess you could say, is different than on a skateboard. on a skateboard you slide your foot to the nose and then flick your foot to get the board spinning, on a wakeskate once you ollie you just kind of push down on the side of the board to get it spinning. but after that it is pretty much the same

from the way I see it when he tries them....I think he does it just like a skateboard, but more like a late-flip. He seems to flip the board after he gets his pop, if that makes any sense to you guys???

Yeah Kyle, the wakeskate videos I've seen of guys busting kickflips are lateflip style. Pop first then kick down rather than flick.

Wakegurl, if you have the rotation on a skateboard then you can probably try it on a wakeskate. The cool thing about the wakeskate is that it's big so even though you hafta kick harder there's TONS more room for your foot to land on.

Damn Kyle, he looks like he is getting close. I havn't tried them on my backside wake, but can fully visualize the kick on it now. I respect that a ton because I have never seen it done on a backside wake like that. It is so much harder to be the first person to figure something out like that.

That is seriously a dope looking picture. I don't know why, but I love the way re-entry tricks look.

Daniel lovett is so solid at kickflips its crazy. He did the varial flip and the w2w. I don't know how the hell he does it. Kickflips are super hard. Kyle- your friend looks super close. how long has he been wakeskating?

this is going to be his 3rd season on the skate. He has been skatinboarding his whole life, as well as, he was a pro snowboarder for his late teens and early twenties....so, he is basically a natural on any board you throw him on. I hate it sometimes, the guy is a natural! Rolling Eyes
