OK, I'm almost embarrassed to ask this, but should both bindings face slightly outward of center at the same angle?? I have been at this over a year, can switch and w2w, and up to recently have had no instruction or watched any videos. Now that I have found this site (and others) when I watch any of the instructional videos. it almost looks like the riders trailing leg is almost at the same angle facing forward as the front.
It feels like I should have found this out over a year ago, but it's driving me nuts not knowing if my bindings are set right or not. |

| if you jump up as high as you can and look at the way you land, that will probably be your perfect riding stance |

I searched the net when first starting and found several sites that said this...
When first starting, duck out your leading foot - but put your trailing foot at 0 degrees. They also cautioned not to get used to this though. You should only use this stance in the very beginning. Check the article at http://www.wakeworld.com/articles/2003/wfd.asp
And like colefooter says, when you start to switch, they really need to be at the same angle. _________________ Shifting from day to night, shifting from snow skiing to wakeboarding, shifting from professional to professional goof-off - always shifting. |

NOT doing this will help you out a lot more in the long run. Duck them equally, you have to learn to ride that way anyway. _________________ Some female cows have horns, but you wouldn't really know anything about that now would you? |

| I would have to say, start with them ducked too.. that way you don't have to get use to them again when you have to change them to go to switch |

| i tried angling both my feet the same and when i was riding switch it felt really bad on my knee, so i angled my back foot (when riding regular) a little bit less and it was a lot more comfortable both ways. |

I use the same setup as on my snowboard, but to a smaller degree.
If you're used to something, just go with it. I ride switch on a snowboard and am comfortable that way, so im comfortable on a wakeboard that way. |

just use whatever degree works for you.
I don't know how to tell you what degree mine are, 4 notches I think, but notches would be different on every different binding.
Maybe I'll break out the protractor and let you know later _________________ Some female cows have horns, but you wouldn't really know anything about that now would you? |
