|
Hey, I'm new to wakeboarding and was just wondering what type of set up I should get. I got about 600$ (canadian). I was thinking Hyperlite becasue there's a store near my place that carries a lot of Hyperlite. So if you guys could give me a few good set ups or even tips on what to look for when buying would be great.

Theres some posts on this just gotta search for them. But if you want Hyperlite and are new to the sport I would suggest a Motive or an Era or Fluid...Theres also plenty of good beginner boards from other brands. _________________ www.Tigeowners.com

Don't limit yourself to hyperlite. There are alot of good brands out there. If you know how to get up I reccomend Demoing a board and Bindings. If your local shop doesn't do it, go to www.trinityboardshop.com they will do demo's through the mail. As for bindings, probably the most loved, reasonably priced bindings out there right now are the Liquid Force Alphas...they are sick and really aren't too expensive. You should be able to get a good deal on a Liquid Force Trip and Alphas together for well Under 600. Just because you have 600 to spend I wouldn't spend it all, especially on a beginner board.

Oh and some tips/things to look for. Mainly for a beginner go with a Continuous Rocker.

yaa there are some good hyperlites to start out with. like agfan12 said though, dont just limit yourself to hyperlite. look around and demo if you can. as for tips you may want to look for a board with round edges and a continuous rocker to learn on. you dont have to learn on one of those however....its just probably the easiest. good luck
