safe or stupid?

Hey i have been into this ditchoarding lately just thers one flaw to it, ther is an approach in the middle of the ditch that stops you from crossing, would it be a good idea or a bad idea to build a big kicker to jump it

that sounds good, then you could ride longer in the ditch, if you fall it would be just like falling anywhere in the ditch, just be carefull

Id use a rail but ive never hit eaither before in my life and i dont like the idea of falling off the rail and usin my face as a shovel in the mud Shocked

hmm.... well youb could make a kicker and a rail, place them side-by-side, and hit whichever one
just make sure you get it on tape

if you've got the money go with both the kicker and slider side by side that would be awesume you'd never get bored the only hard thing would be descinding which one to hit i would be able to make up my mind

I have a video I made of my buddies. There is a bunch of ditch wakeboarding w/ a slider over a gap like you are talking about and some other ghetto sliders we threw in a creek. How do I post it? Its like 7min long.

I think if you were going to do a kicker or a rail you'd need a pretty wide ditch. You need to be able to cut at the ditch from an angle to remain straight. Also when you hit a kicker you are usually cutting at it so you'll need more speed than just driving straight. Make sure you have a large enough landing area so that if you do get pulled to the side you won't land on the ground from 10 feet up at 25mph.

(obviously I've put much thought into this idea already but w were thinking of doing a slider instead)

how big could is this gap? its only ditch so you arent gonna need a 6ft kicker to get across that thing. even if you did most ditchs are only like knee deep. build a slider or just ollie that thing
