| actually dude, if ur far enuff awayfrom the actual balst, standing behind a door will save u. in many cases in japan, ppl who were shielded behind objects lived, when ppl right next to them who were exposed...died...

actually dude if that door kept you from dying from the initial blast you would die from the radiation within a few hours. that door wouldnt stop the heat from melting your clothes to your skin or other nasty things. if you didnt die from the radiation you would be very sick for a very long time and have kids that were incredibly deformed.

my history book has a picture of a dude that was 60 miles from the a-bomb in hiroshima and it melted the print on his t-shirt to his back.

Have you guys seen the pics of people really close to the blast? Some who were standing in front of stone walls were turned to dust and the dust was burnt into the stone. It looks like their shadow was burnt onto the stone.... freaky...

is it me or does it look like a bunch of those pictures depict the guy standing there thinking about what to do (the first and last one especially).
it's like uh duh... there's chemical agents out there and the fish are dying...
some real brain surgeon must have worked hours to come up with that crap.

no way. 60 miles away wouldn't do anything to a person from 10-20 kilaton abombs like the ones dropped on japan. i read of ppl who were in the city who were behind walls and stuff that weren't hurt at all but ppl next to them died. not everyone in the cities died. there was an 80% casuality rate or something(within 2 miles) thats right, 20% of the ppl with 2 miles of the blast survived...

| i'm pretty sure that the radiation would mess you up either way. if your close enough for the blast to kill you then you'd be sitting right under lots of harmful fall out that would continue to fall after the blast

yeah, the pictures r hilarious i think. and yeah, ill agree that if u were far enough away from the blast, a door could save u from initial death. but yeah, the radiation would get ya. and yeah those pics off peoples figures burnt into stone are crazy. i have a movie showing some of those things....nukes

all i have to say is that i dont wanna survive an atomic bomb. if its dropped in my area then id rather die from the initial explosion than suffer the effects of radiation poisoning. maybe your textbooks have pics of people that survived the blast and had kids with either extra limbs or that were completly impotent. no thank you.
