|

I have enough hight and everything however when I try the back roll it almost looks like I'm doing a back flip not a cart wheel. I've been told that its similar to a mexi roll. Does anyone have video of a mexi roll or is it just a screwed up back roll ? Also what can I do to correct this ?
Thanks _________________ I Love The Smell of Butta In The Morning |

Ok forget what I just said I saw a video of a mexi roll and I'm not doing that. What I am doing is throwing my head backwards almost like doing a back flip on a tramp. _________________ I Love The Smell of Butta In The Morning |

| you are doing a tantrum....don't do anything with your head for the backroll....just let your board follow the wake up, and continue it moving in the direction. let if float up and over your head. if you concentrate on moving your board around you, and not you around your board, you should get it. |

Ya, I guess that's what I'de be doing except not fully getting tripped by the wake. Do you lean while following your head sidewayz.....I don't know if that makes sense ? _________________ I Love The Smell of Butta In The Morning |

| I think you would know if you were doing a tantrum, you have to cut to where your back is coming into the wake. That's a hard thing to do if you're not trying to. I don't know what it could be other than a mexi-roll. I guess you'd have to post a video... I don't know. When I do a backroll I look over my left shoulder when I come off the wake to get my rotation. |

That definitely has the HINT of a backroll, but it looks more like an off axis front flip to me because your board goes away and over and not up and over (relative to your direction of travel). _________________ "Remember when I said I'd kill you last...I lied"
