my roomy is looking for a new board and just demo'd a hyperlite 134 (can't remember the model)....anyhow, just wondering what you (ladies) think some of the best boards are this year so that she can demo a few before she buys....she's around 120lbs, and somewhat of a beginner still but wants to progress (she's working on pop and wake to wake now).
thanks... |

| this is my third year to ride a trip, my 8 year old rides the 128, imo there is not a better board for learning and advancing.....ride it without the center for a loose ride and learning your surface tricks.....my kiddo rides it better than any board she has been on, it tracks really well, fast and easy to put on edge.....trip, balance, subjekt, they are all very much alike.... |

| Also try the Hyperlite Premier 135, DoubleUp's Sirena 133 and Blindeside has the 5-0 boards that are a good, all around board. Billy McKee's 136 is also very similar to the Premier 135, just made by Blindside. |

my little sister rides a trip 28. all three fins, i can't get her to ride without the middle one.
I used to ride it with only the side fins.
We just got a Premier 135 DNA with new Belmont bindings... she would rather ride her old school trip with the orginal stiff Byerly bindings anyday.
She also has riden a 137 Belomont but is a big fan of the trip. She is 16, 5' 6" ~120lbs . Tell your roomie to pick up an old trip. The one we have os a 2000 and still works fine. I will caution you tho, the trips are chip up around the edges far more easily than any board I have ever seen.
Keep the ladies ridin! _________________ out. |

| Before she buys anything, have her sign up for a demo program at the local shop. That way she can try a bunch of stuff and buy whta she really likes before she spends a bunch of money. |

| My first board was a Hyperlite Juvi 131, it was a great board to learn on and I was able to learn a lot on it. I rode it for like 3 summers and then I got my Hyperlite Premier 135. |
