Rope length and speed the same?

Do you ride at the same speed and rope length as Wakeboarding? I just got a new cassette and haven't been on it yet. We've pulled the boots off of a wakeboard before to try it out and loved it. We pulled at the same speed and rope length.......is that ok?

yeah it's fine. I ride the same a little shorter and a little slower. I have seen people ride at at the shortest and and very slow. It's what you feel comfortable with

i usually ride at like 19-20 a little shorter rope.

depends on what im wanting to do. if im just messin around ill ride at 15' and 16-18 mph. that way i can talk to the people in the boat while im skating. however mostly i ride at 55' and 21-23 mph.
