I have a LF Rythym 41 and the design on the board is peeling. I cut the excess vinyl with a utility knife off and it has seemed to stop peeling but now the board has one decent sized white spot on the heel edge. What's causing this? And can I just get one part of my board recoverd or when they recover boards do they have to do the whole thing?

that is what you call delaminating. It is when the graphics pell off your board. How old is your board? It used to be a fairly big problem on older LF stuff. Depending on how old it is they will cover it but if it is an older board you may want to call them and ask. If not it doesn't effect the ride it just looks gettoh

Same problem on my kid's boards. I was hoping to find some great new graphics, but the only thing I've found so far are some stickers. No whole-board graphics. Thought about painting it myself - but not sure what type of paint to use - worried about eating up the baord.

man, just put some stickers on that thing and ride it. Who cars if it looks funny. Showing wear on your board means your using it.

Ahhh, if it was only for me I wouldn't worry. But it's the board for my kids (ages 6, 6, 9, 11). They think the baord stinks because it doesn't have cool graphics on it. Jeez, once they are up doing w2w jumps I'll think about getting them each their own board. But until then they get what they get.

Try putting some Aloe Vera lotion on it...and next time you have it out on the water, use some sunscreen.
