|
|
| To understand where im coming from you have to know how it started... I was messing around on my friends trampoline and attempted what i thought would be a normal HS front roll. Some how while in mid air my body naturally turned 180' and i landed switch. Wow big deal right... What im getting at is every time i try a front roll i end up throwing the revert regardless of what i do, but i stick it every time. heres my question.. when i get the cajones to try it behind the boat can i expect my body to naturally revert out like it does on the trampoline or will i have to force it??? My other question is do you guys have any pointers on transfering a trick like the roll 2 revert from the trampoline to the wake??? |

well, to not do the revert, LET GO WITH THE BACK HAND! you are going revert because you are holding on with the back hand......and the transfer tramp to wake, jump high |

just to clarify....
doesn't roll to revert imply backroll to revert....or does that matter?
I suppose any roll to revert could be referred to as "roll to revert," but does roll to revert mean any roll or only backroll to revert? _________________

roll to revert implies a backroll with a 180, scarecrow is a front roll 180 _________________ Hesitation leads to pain |

| not to be a jerk but more specifically, roll to revert is a backroll with a frontside 180, and a scarecrow is a more laid out front roll 180 and looks totally different than a front roll 180. |

actually the scarecrow is done both ways, some people who learned the front roll correctly first seem to be able to throw a big slow front roll with a late 180 which looks nice and theres the way you see a lot of people do them is a crow started a front roll laid out getting that 180 started and twisted early to make the landing easier to see and land IMO...i do them real laid out because i like the feek in the air better...but now my fronts look like elephants because of this,..
but you all are correct when someone says roll to revert most woulkd assume its a heelside backroll to revert... _________________ "Thanks for Play'n"

| yeah if you let go with front hand theboat will pull you into fake, so for straight rools just use both hands and pull the rope into your hip, then you can start to let go to do grabs |
