Went to set the perfect pass yesterday and was able to turn in on and set the speed, everything worked as always. When I got up to speed I noticed the number on the right that shows realtime speed was still as zero? I checked all the plugs and the sensor in the bottom of the boat seems fine.

Anyone have any ideas on what it might be? I'm taking it to the dealer later this week to fix but I plan to ride before then and wanted to see if anyone had something to try.

By the way, I think it could make you a poor speed controller over time. I was always confident that I could do better than Perfect Pass but since it takes that big responsibility off I use it when pulling anything. Having to maintain speed the manual way was actually a struggle for the first few minutes, guess I was out of practice. Great product for us lazy old people Very Happy

Check and see if all of the paddles are on the PP wheel on the bottom of the boat. Look under the drivers helm and check the conections to the PP brain to make sure they are plugged in tight, should be 5 cables.

I assume your speedo also gets it's signal from the paddlewheel? Therefore that's still working ok..., so it must be the link between the speedo input and the master module? or a problem with the module?

I'm having the exact same problem, I just verified that the speedo input wire is good, so my problem must be in the master module or a grounding problem???

I'll be calling Perfect Pass tomorrow...

Anyone else have any ideas?

My Tige has separate paddlewheels for the speedo and PP. Check the paddlewheel that's under the boat to make sure it still spins.

Also try using RPM mode to see if that works. If it does then you at least know that the PP module is still working. Good news is that the PP paddlewheel is easy and cheap to replace.
