I have 2 boys and they get bored when were on the water all day. Is it possible to put a DVD player with a seperate LCD screen on the boat, where they can wacth it like in the bow without it getting wet. Has anyone tried it?

Its definately possible to put one in there. Having it face where it's viewable from the bow and not get wet... that's tricky. I don't know what doesn't get wet on your boat but even our tower gets splashed. The only thing I can think of is put it behind some waterproof housing. Then you can pretty much put it anywhere... but you'll have to deal with a glare.

They should do a boat on that show. That would be sweet.

On pimp my ride they would have 20" wheels on the trailer I only have 18". I just want one screen not 20.

haha, yes, they do overdo the amount of entertainment in their rides...by the way, why are your kids getting bored!? Mr. Green

im sure you could figure out something. you have a ski boat with a glove compartment? you could do a flip up thing with the glove box...

I would think the biggest problem is visibility, not wetness. Because of the sun, the screens will be very hard to see.

If your budget is not all that big, maybe just buy a portable dvd from best buy or something, and get a couple headphones for them, that way they could move around depending on the sun.

I have seen tv's in the bow, cut into the padding, with glass screens protecting them, this seems a lot more expensive, but looked real good.

Good luck.

hey whats wrong with pimping out a bayliner.......im proud of mine; tower, board rack, flamed tower speakers, extensive sound system. its cool to see an ordinary boat turned into a decent wakeboarding boat. i would also like to see a brand new x star pimped out to the extreme but id equally like to see a p.o.s boat turned into one that's the sh*t. i guess for me its like the same with cars and trucks, its awesome to see brand new ones customized, but theres something to be said about older vehicles getting fixed up and pimped out. im still waiting to see a boat trailer rolling down the launch on spinners. has anyone witnessed this? i sure hope not......
