How many of you out there? Spring is just around the corner, I can't f'n wait. I put my boat in the water in late March last year, hoping the weather cooperates this year and I'll do the same. E-mail for the hook-up if you ever want a pull behind a sick set-up. Later... |

No, I went to Forest Hills Central. Graduated in 97. Then went to school in Colorado for 4 years, and now I'm back doing the whole job thing.
I didn't know there were parties at Calvin? Just kidding. Yeah, Christina used to date one of my boys, then he broke up with her for his ex. |

Everytime I see her she's on her cell. Dude, you have no idea about the parties at Calvin. They are pretty decent, these christian boys know how to do it. _________________ B-town crew |

No offense, man, but almost every girl that I have ever met that went to Calvin was broke. But, I'll take your word for it. I need to stop going downtown and start hitting the Calvin parties, ha ha. Actually, maybe. |

This weather blows. I can't wait for summer, or least for the temps to get over freezing. This 2 degrees BS is getting a little old. |

I'm over in Kalamazoo. Plan to get the boat ready in the first or second week of March. Finaly have a boat with a decent wake (old but works). Anybody who wants to go out and freeze with me let me know. _________________ serenity now - insanity later |

Hey HR134 I live in South Lyon. I think we should all get together, and go riding one day. I am also out in GR quite a bit. I have cousins that live out there. I just bought in on a new ride as well, I picked up a 2001 Mastercraft X-5 that I used to ride behind all the time last year. It was solely my buddy's boat, and he let me go half way in on it, with him!!! Also I started a wakeboarding club at my college, and we are receiving $1200 every three months for boat gas!!!! SWEET!!! Just for reference, I have also partied at Calvin before. I give it a 7 out of 10 rating on a fun scale, their were some pretty hot skanks running around. |

I live in GR also. As it happens, I graduated from Calvin three years ago.
Anyway, I've been looking for a pull for a long time.
I live right across from Calvin on Burton and the Beltline.
We need to hook up and ride!
I can't offer a boat, but I can offer a gas card come summer. |

I think I need to change my vote from March to " as soon as the ice melts" Sure as hell doesn't look like the ice will melt before April - still 2 feet of ice on the lake!!! _________________ serenity now - insanity later |

Yeah, March is looking a little early this year. The ice doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. I swear every night another inch is made. But, it is supposed to be in the 50's this weekend. I would be out riding for sure if the ice were gone. Hope it melts some of it. Well, riding's not too far off. Just a little while longer of this torture. BTW, anyone go to Mid-West Wake Fest last year in Ottawa, IL? Anyone going this year? I heard it's a blast and I am definitely making the trip this summer. It would be cool to get a crew together and head down there. Later... |

I live in the lansing area, hit me up if you ever wanna ride, i got a decent slider.... this sucks though theres tons of shitty ice on the lake, we got like no snow so the waters gonna be low.... at least its supposed to get warmer this weekend. There are so many of you boarders from Brighton/ South Lyon area its nuts, i ride down there sometimes..... _________________ Wakeboard Militia |

Maybe we should all pray for meltage? Or do some kind of voo-doo dance? I saw cars still parked on the lakes this weekend ice fishing, parked on my riding spots! |

The Grand River isn't frozen anymore, but I really don't like the idea of swimming in sewage. Not to mention all the stumps and shizzle in there. I am torn, I just wish this ice would melt. WTF? |

Drove by the lake yesterday and Icould actually see some water in the shallow areas. I know Phizer dumps some hot water in the lake so that might help it melt faster. Can't wait to get the new boat out in some Michigan water. I'm planning on going the first weekend of April, even I a have to dodge ice junks. _________________ serenity now - insanity later |

It is now official. The 2003 wakeboarding season has begun. Went to sleep last night and the entire lake still had ice on it. Woke up this morning after a night of warm rain and storms and the entire lake is melted. No ice anywhere. The boat is being launched immediately after work. Oh yeah, it's time to ride. FINALLY!!! |

Lake frozen, then thawed, now it's freezing again. Ice storm hits Oakland county, tree down in front of launch. New boat not ready for two more weeks. Looks like first run of the year has gone form first day of April to last day of April. Now my trampoline has a big sheet of heavy ice on it! Bet they don't deal with this kind of crap in Florida. _________________ Old dogs can learn new tricks, they just spend more time at the vet. |
