drive shaft worn out?

do i have to replace my drive shaft if its worn out?
here's a pic off my drive shaft its worn out where the seal (thru hull) is.

and on the other side (strut) its also worn out but not so bad. the surface is noth smooth.

i've also noticed that my drive shaft has some room in my strut. so i have to replace my strut bearings also. Confused
the only thing thats hard to remove a drive shaft is this Evil or Very Mad

that was a pain in the ass Mad

It sounds like you have a project. Contact Acme Marine, the prop guys. They have a new shaft system that may work for you and it cannot wear like your old one.
