I went out today and tried to ride a 2003 parks 138. I found that the board was real slow and everytime that i tried to cut hard and gain speed the board would come out from under me. PLease let me know if i'am riding the board wrong because i figured this board was suppose to be fast.

PS. The board i'm used to riding is a blindside DV8 140.

I have the 04 and I can tell you that board is really grippy and very fast on the gaz pedal. (some says it's too fast).

try to jump wake 2 wake. maybe you are too much on your both feet on your hard cut and the 3 stages (2.7 rocker) make you slide (power slide).

i'm ridding 75' and 23 mph

I rode mine for the first day yesterday, I found the speed ok however, our boat is not he best for wake, its an old outboard so I will have to wait until I ride behind a boat with actual wake before I give an honest opinion.

i ride an 03 parks 138, i put .7 a-wings(smallest fin) on it and the thing with this board is that you have to lean and edge alot harder, the board is pretty loose, you just have to get used to it. the back end needs to be further down in the water than most boards, at least thats how i ride it, the board hauls a$$ for me, its just technique, gotta practice it Twisted Evil

Hey alafia why did you go to a smaller fin if it rides loose? I have the org 1.3's and I might want to go larger for more grip? And Marty, if the board slid out from under you, your not cutting hard enough. It will only do what you tell it to do. Cut harder, and you'll be hooked on the board. It just takes time for anyone to change your style to match the board. Jet

I've never ridden a more responsive board. I felt like it was doing all the work for me. I currently ride an 01 Belmont and felt the Parks was faster.
