more surface to slide on the grind because it's longer but harder to spin... and it is made for sliders so it'll probably last longer also... but it depends on your budget... I would recommend the grind because of it's p-tex base that will be longer lasting on obtacles... |

You're going to slide, now matter what base it has it will tear up. Might as well save yourself some money, don't ya think? |

Maestro - can you give me more details on the SX boards? DO you have any digi pics? Our pro riders use them all the time and they don't go through "a bunch of boards" so if you are I want to know about it so we can correct any issues.
They should be the most durable boards out there.

The origin boards that my roomate has have lasted for some time. He has not broken or tore through the 01 134 with the 02 base yet. I also know the 138 skull and 134 bansai are fine. They have been turned into community boards for the cable park and hitting sliders. Since he has a sponsorship by them he can them up whenever. I think they are by far the most durable boards on the market and they are even covered under warranty for hitting sliders and kickers. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. Chris - I didn't go through a bunch of them. I just used a bunch of them. I was at a camp that had them, and they didn't break. They just began to delam from the bottom of the board. These were the 02 ones.... I heard they were changed in 03, but I haven't seen them now. |
