| Are you like thinking that you are good enough for nationals? If so, I certainly want to know what tricks you can pull. If not, then I don't see why you should care. |

I dont have to many tricks right now but over the summer I plan to get better. I am riding with some of the local pro's and they think if I keep on progressing I might be able to compete. right now I have almost 6 inverts and im learning my spins. I plan to ride a lot this summer though. _________________ Liquid Force

You would be jr. Mens, BUT you could move up and ride pro. Sounds crazy, but if your good on sliders, Pro (i believe) is the only class that hits them. Wake riding, in either division will be full of big spins and mobes.
As for skill level, if you won't feel like your embrassing yourself riding there, go for it. Lots of people ride at nationals. If i meet some of my goals this summer I may go down and get beat down in mens 1. Just to say I rode at nationals.

OK thanks. If I was in the boys division I would have probably gone depending on what my skill level was at, at the end of summer. I know a lot of good people in Junior mens and i dont think I could compete with them. There is always a chance though. Do you know what the cuttoff was for Boys? _________________ Liquid Force

actually, jr men hit the sliders too. But I'm with ocean rider, I thinkt he cut off for boys is 13. But look into it, you might be able to ride open men. It's kind of like the amateur mens division without age limits, but I'd double check on that. Plus, if you think competing is something you'd really like to get into, then I say give it a shot this year, even if it may be a little bit before your ready. At least you'll get the experience for what a big comp is like so it won't be such a shock if you do decide to compete seriously. _________________ SlidingGlass.com
