Well, it cut off part of my topic.
Which rope? "Accurate-Jacket series" or "Straight Line-Viper" |

my new handle setup its the new fire jacket rope with extension and the orange premier handle, i like the fire jacket it kicks a$$ but it takes a while to get broken in, and the whole "this rope is untanglable" thats bs. _________________ >-èA§T§ÌDè->RÌdèR-> |

Either of the jacketed Spectra's are great. Do not belive that crap about being tangle free. That's so much BS. If it says tangle free (and you belive it) that means it will get tangled like a mo-fo.... BOth are great ropes though. Go with whatever one looks better in your opinion. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. IF you are going to use it often and have it sitting in the sun-then do not buy the Straight Line-Viper! These have horrible UV protection and break all the time on me! Ofcourse, I ride alot and leave my ropes sitting out and stuff. _________________ My opinion is my opinion!

Another vote for the Accurate-Jacket. I love mine. But just like everyone else is saying, it will tangle almost everytime I use it.

Have any of you guys ever used the Masterline EVA Carbon Handle and Neo Core Rope? I got this setup at the end of last season and this is by far the best rope combo I have ever used. _________________ "Spring Yet???" |

Jacket all the way...
For everyone having tangle problems out there.. I used to be a pissed off Jacket owner till someone showed me how to properly roll it back up for storage. The trick is when your done riding for the end of the day, take the rope in and off your pylon/tower then swing it around so the handle is inside the boat and the rest in the water. Start the engine and straighten out the rope by moving forward in the water. This will unkink/untwist the rope. Then just coil the rope up like normal. This has worked great for me and my tangle problems went away. |
