I believe the main tubing is 1 3/4"...if I remember correctly...I hope I am correct because I ordered brackets from Raul for 1 3/4"

Thanks gundogg, I'm getting ready to order some 1.75" brackets from Raul too. I'm guessing that you're a bird hunter?

I decided to check into this a little further. I just called Wakeside & a Nautique dealer and they both told me the same thing, the generation I FCT has 1 5/8" tubing.

what gen is the 04 tower?

The 04 I believe would be Gen 2. The 04 ones I recently measured were all 1 7/8"

Boomerzuma...oops...sorry for the bad information, and I guess I will have to order some new clamps...I haven't tried them yet, but they are at my house now. I could have sworen that the tubing was 1 3/4". That is most unfortunate.

and as for being a bird hunter...if I am not riding behind the boat I am hunting.

we hunt water fowl, i am also in the proccess of training a new american cocker spaniel...very time consuming Rolling Eyes
