Here in AZ to water the grass they flood it. There is a decent sized field inbetween some buildings here on campus, it was flooded. It was about 1"-8" deep. We decided to grabbed the skate and have some fun.
After 7-8 runs, security came. After a 30 minute delay in the action, they approved of the event as long as class is dismissed. So now anytime the field is flooded, we can wakeskate on campus. We plan to make some silders and maybe a kicker (it's not deep, so if you fell off the kicker it'd hurt).

Here's the video if you want to check it out.

The taping isn't great, some chicks did it. Any that was the first few runs, so we didn't try many tricks or anything....though we can't do many.
Just thought I'd share this with everyone.

That's pretty sweet. You can actually carve, unlike normal ditchboarding. It would be amazing if you put a slider in too.

That video's huge, though. Next time, try compressing it. You can also put it in the media gallery here on wb.com instead of on your own website. I compressed a copy ( 894 kB instead of 55 MB) for you. The quality's a little worse, but it's less than 1/50th the file size. I put it here: http://photos.wakeboarder.com/showphoto.php?photo=3737

Thanks bluefish. I'm no video-tech or anything with the compression.

Next year (since school is almost out here), we plan on building a slider next semester.

Well sliders will be in the futures, so don't worry. It's just that they don't flood it very often, and we never know when.

w$r, it's at GCU. Yeah, I know...but oh well. Laughing But we can wakeskate on campus, so it's all good. I live on campus, since I'm from MN.
