Is it possible to hook up a second battery in a series wiring, similar to what you would do in a car?
or do i just have to stick with a second battery and a seperator switch that i would turn to adjust between the two? _________________ If at first you dont succeed, you oviously wasnt ment to do it!!

series , no. parallel, yes. a switch and other add on's are optional.
series would get you 24 volts. |

this may sound wierd, but can anyone post a pic of what parallel looks like with a battery? i know what parallel is but just seams like i have seen them in series before....and if i just wanted to run a second battery just for back up, would a switch be my safest bet? _________________ If at first you dont succeed, you oviously wasnt ment to do it!!

parallel is + to + and - to - .
yes, you need to get a switch to use on battery as a reserve. |
