I tell people to just hold on a couple seconds longer then a wakeboard, then stand up. It really is the same thing but the board is smaller and does not pop you up as quick. Also really suck your knees up _________________ http://www.integrity-wake.com

Gradie421,
Check out this video. This is how I start. I wait for the boat to idle out until the rope gets tight enough for me to put pressure on the board with my feet without pushing the board away. Then i say ight go, lean back a tad bit, and yahooo your up.

Gradie421,
sometimes i do, im not fully standing up, kinda crouched down. I do that when i really want to pop outa the water. Most of the time i just sit down like im sitting in a chair to start with my feet propped up. |

| all u have to do if your a beginner is hold rope with one hand and the board with the other. Keep ur board in the same position you would if you were getting up on a wakeboard. tell the driver to pull u a bit so the water starts to push agaisnt your board and that well keep it on your feet so you can put 2 hands on the rope, then say "Yes please" and get pulled out of the water. |

When I was learning, I would stand on the board underwater like I would on land, then I would yell GO right when I started letting the board and my feet float upwards, that way you can keep both of your hands on the handle. If you are strong enough and have been wakeboarding long enough, you will be able to get up with one hand while holding the board...I know that I couldn't do that when I first started, but now I can. |

the easiest way for me when learning was to sit in the water with the board under my feet, its easy if you just keep your knees bent, hold the rope with both hands, when the rope gets tight kinda push the board towards the boat, its quite easy to just lock your arms around the outside of your knees to hold the right position, once you have enough speed stand your A$$ up. skate or die!! _________________ www.under360.com
