| will this give you a false read? changed oil at the begining of the season, and when i checked a few days ago, it was just above full. do i need to drain off some? motor sits angled when on trailer so i figured thats why. how much oil with new oil filter are you guys using? (02SANTE) |

Should be OK.
Next time though, use the jack and make the motor level. _________________ I'm hung like Einstein,

anyone have quart amount? owners manual says "about" 4 quarts. put in 4 and checked in a few, looked low so added extra quart, now is over full mark.
LEGGESTER, yea thats why i wasnt too stressed because when its in the water the motor is more level than on trailer especially when at speed. just wandered what people thought with it being over full, if it would hurt motor or not. |
