slider wood??

my friend and i spent all friday making a rail to bring out on our lake and it turned out to be awsome. we think we are ready to make a longer rail sonce the one we used last time was sorta a gib rail. but yea intsted of using pvc like last time we want to use just plain wood. but i was wondering what the stuff is that most pros put on the top of the wood. im thinking some kinda vinal, but if u know than let me know. thanx.

are you talking about the synthetic wood stuff thats made out of plastic if so then you can buy it at home depot its called trex decking i believe

o alright, yea i went to home depot yester day and got some vinal florring that i put on top of the wood and i got it wet and it feels like it will slide weel, but yea the guy at r local board shop recommended vinal but ill have to look for that synthetic wood.. thanx
