I am new to the whole wake board boat idea and i cant afford new. Not looking to spend over 25,000 for boat and tower. I was thinking about SN or Mc cause i have only heard great things so far. Im just curios on what year SN Sport, Super Sport or MC Prostar 190 or 205 (96-newer) or (95-older)

Any comments on any boat would be great. Right now im leaning towards a 96 205 but i was also curious what was the change in the 205 from 95 to 96, and should i stop looking a 190 all together cause ive heard its kinda hard to get a quality wake out of that small of a boat.

Thanks in advance for any advise or comments.

(Pics of These boats and/or wakes would be great too) Cool

As far as wakes first you need to decide what kind of wake you like then see what boats make that kind of wake. If you already know what kind of wake suits your style then post it and someone will tell you what kind of boat you would probaly like. As far as MC and CC(nautiques) both are quality boats. Any boat form the mid 90s or older you want to check for wood rot. walk around the floor of the boat and make sure there are not any mushy spots. under the backseat is a very popular place for wood rot. also whenever buying a boat be sure and test drive it. If you absolutely can not test drive hook it up to water so you can at least run it. after running it pull all the spark plugs and make sure they have no oil on them. oil is a very bad sign. also check the transmission fluid and make sure it doesnt look like crap or have water in it. other than that most stuff should be visable. Dont let hours scare you or make you confident because it is very common of people to replace the guages. also if the boat has high hours people will tell you they left the key on a few times. judging by hours isnt a very good way to judge any boat.
