I bought a boat at the local boat show in March, with an agreed upon date to pick up the boat in late april. Well, my boat is the only boat that is sitting outside, unlocked, and uncovered. The boat came with a cover so I called and asked cause we were gonna get 5 inches of rain. "Don't worry about it, the electronics are covered by warranty." I stopped by today adn the boat is filthy and the trailer already has rustspots, yet it is supposed to be new! What do you think I should do? I am growing frustrated. We put a downpayment down on the boat, if I decide to go somewhere else would I be able to recoup that. Would like to hear your suggestions.

roybotto, write letters to the mfg's sales rep./etc. Don't cross the fence yet, just express your mis-givings with them and how things are being handled with your future investment.

If the boat is on lot, why can't you pick it up now? When we get a customer's boat in, it stays inside until they pick it up. If by chance we have to keep it outside, they get a full detail before it is driven off lot.

Roybotto,

My name is Matt Ness and I work at the Crystal Pierz Marine in Fargo. It appears as if we have dropped the ball. We pride ourselves in our great customer service and you have certainly been let down. Please contact me either by phone or email and I'll be happy to take care of you from here on out. Once again I apologize and I look forward to talking with you soon!
