I have a bud with an old bayliner with a 140hp ob.With 1000lbs on board it throws up an awsome wake it would put some inboards to shame. My girlfreind used to own a 16ft Cobra with a 90 hp ob as well. That is the boat I basically learned to wake behind.Without weight the wake was ankle high but by addding about 200lbs up front and 400lbs in the back the wake would double in size and the boat still planed quick and easy.Once planing play with the trim somewhere around 3/4 up the wake will get cleaned up and steepen signifigantly

i personally love the stryper boat that has a wakeboard tower. BUT also has rod holders mounted on the tower so that you can fish while you board.
