monster tower speaker mounts

does anyone know if monster towers are completely hollow so i could drill a hole at the mounting base and then at the top to hide the wires?

just so you know, i am orderin mines soon and am thinking of things i can do to make it personalized

ya, you can run wires threw the tubes

at the part where the back brace meets the cross tube, i would have to come out and back in though...
any one got some pics of round cans mounted to a monster tower? i found some pics through the seach on here but they were square boxes up there, or if someone has them could you post a couple close up pics of how you ran your wires?

If you add speakers or lights to your Monster Tower, you can hide the wires inside of the rear legs of the tower as well as in the straight cross member of the top section. Since the mating parts insert ½” inside each end of the rear leg you can drill 1” away from the weld lines. For the top section cross member you
will need to place the hole 3” from the weld line to clear the rotating collar assembly. The hole size will depend on what size wire you are running and how many items you need to wire. The maximum hole size we recommend is ½” but normally smaller is all that is needed.

Dutch.... WOW, very well stated!

The only sort of drawback is you have two places that the wires are exposed.. on the top section to the top of the legs (front or rear) and then coming out again at the base of the legs.

I just ran external in split loom tubing and tie wrapped it. Isn't that bad. Plus, with an AMP connector, I can take everthing off the tower, but leave the 'guts' of the wiring still inside the boat.
