Does anyone have experience with air tight hubs? How well do they work and are they worth it?

nope, but I've been using bearing buddies for years. They're on every trailer (boat, flatbed, stakebed, whatever) in my family.

| Right, I have Bearing Buddies on my trailer also. I was wondering how these compare. The air pressure indicator gauge is supposed to give a visual indication of the bearings heating up.

IMHO. bearing buddys are great, but they do make a mess. i have those hollow spindles that force the grease from the inboard bearing outward. i have heard that the oil bath type run cooler than greased hubs, but no first hand experience.
IF you let you bearings cool for a few minutes before you quench them with water, they won't suck up the lake as bad.
