|
|
Need some help . I have the 2003 HL 3060's. I have adjusted the heck out of my left binding but it seems that no matter how loose or tight the overlays are, some falls cause my left foot to come partially out and ends up twisting my ankle. Right foot has no problems at all.
I am ready to upgrade to a higher end binding anyhow and was wondering if anyone could offer any advice. I wear a size 9.5 shoe, but have skinny, narrow feet. Anyone recommend any bindings that may be a lean towards a narrow foot rather than a regular?
Thanks in advance for any help! |

| mcook77, you may want to get some more opinions, but I know you can tighten the overlays on Liquid Force bindings quite a bit to the point where they're really tough to get out of even if you try. |

| Ontrider - thanks for the reply. My 3060's are like that now. I had a hard time getting in/out of them today without some soap, but the left would still start slipping partially out on a normal fall - nothing extreme that you would expect both bindings to come off, etc. |

| The bindings are a size Medium - which I believe to be the correct size for that shoe size (9.5). I was really hoping that someone may have had an experience with a type of binding that may be built a little more narrow than most. |

| I think the Era is supposed to be narrower in the front. It's essentially the 2004 3060 - although it has a better footbed and is cut a bit lower (I believe)... I've only heard good things about them. |

I've got a pair of hyperlite bindings (not sure which model, but I think they are a 2003) and on my right foot on some landings, the foot slides sideways inside. For some reason I never thought of tightening the overlay... duh.. thanks guys. I mean, I like em, they are great, but it's annoying and the only thing to fix it is a 1/2 cab. _________________ 500 up |

I have a 15 Narrow. I ride Blindside Stomps. They fit well and I do not have a shifting problem. I was riding HL Highbacks that I now need to sell.
I think a more contoured footbed would assist with your problem. DU and BS really came up last year with better footbeds.
Good Luck. _________________ Original Boarder from 1983

| I have the same size foot as you and its very narrow. I ride the medium CWB Zeus bindings. To me, there is no better shaped binding for my foot. I have tried just about every binding out there. |

I say size down or go with liquid force bindings. You can tighten the hell out of em _________________ I'm telling you its jobs,

Thanks everyone for the recommendation.
I seriously considered the Temet, but decided to stay away from the BOA system.
Tried on a pair of the CWB Zeus bindings today and liked the way they felt out of the water. Now just have to start breaking them in this weekend!!
Good thing is that if I do not like them for any reason, I can take them back and exchange for something else. |
