All the locals will understand this, everyone else, dont pay to close attention.......

i think that G.I.Joes would be a sweet sponsor. Now, Its not like that one Taco Bell thread that I had, this one is serious.

I think that in the summer, they have a hefty amount of boards as well as other equipment. And hey, a sponsor is a sponsor. They have a lot of stuff they could hook you up with, not to mention funds if you needed it.

Its not just boards, but other good stuff too. I just think that they could offer alot.

Do any other locals agree?

The reason I say locals is because the store is only in Washington and Oregon

Inggy, You might be on to something. I haven't been to G.I. Joes in awhile, but I don't think they offer any higher end wakeboard gear. Also, as far as wakeboarding goes, Im pretty sure they only carry hyperlite. At least that was it the last time I checked. I don't know, but hey, if you're interested, go talk to a manger at one of the stores or something. My guess would be that they probably aren't looking for sponsors, but give it a shot anyway.

Yea I agree. G.I. Joes may not be the most "core" store ever, but they do have a ton of other stuff besides just wakeboards. That way I could get the carbon fiber hood for my van I've been looking at. Although I think (correct me if I'm wrong), retailers can or will only give discounts on products, instead of just giving away free stuff. If I'm right about that, it would be a little bit of a drawback, but hell, any discount is better than none at all.

I made a ton of money on my G.I. Joes on eBay....ooh, LEGO Men (and women) too!!

They sponsored me and didn't know it. I got a pair of bindings and a handle with the loot.
