i saw the charts last summer...my dealer had them. You could probably go to your local boat dealer & he could probably pull out the number's for their company in comparison to other companies...
if i can find them on the net i'll let you know |

i did a quick search on the internet & found nothing...I know my dealer had a comparison thing...showing how many boats had been produced each quarter and than sort of thing. I believe it was a marketing thing that Skier's Choice had sent to their dealers, but i'm sure that other manufacturers would have the same info. |

that's amazing tho... I never thought the numbers were really that small...
almost 2300 boats in a year for MC... that means they're only making like 3 boats a day.
no wonder wakeboard/ski boats are so overpriced. There's really no "quantity" discounts from the manufacturers of all the parts they put in the boats.
Heck, your local best buy probably sells more stereo equipment in a year than they put into all the boats they make.
I work in the auto industry for ADP (we provide computer systems and services to car dealerships) and some of our larger dealerships sell 300 to 400 cars PER MONTH.
even some of the smaller dealerships might sell 100 cars a month, compare that to a boat manf only building 400 boats in a entire YEAR and selling all those boats across the country.
Amazing differences, that's for sure.
